Things not to do as a manager

Name drop the CEO and your superiors in order to try and get employees to do urgent work

Criticise the existing state of things without offering any solutions

Constantly complain about “lack of documentation” (even though it’s there) as if it’s magical qualities will fix everything

Use vague descriptions of the problem using words like “feel” etc… without giving anything concrete for someone to work on

Constantly make problems out to be bigger than they are

Have badly hidden agendas and prejudices while pretending to be “part of the team”
