Microservices and e2e tests

Like trying to get an orchestra to play a symphony that is in the process of being written by three people in different countries, speaking two different languages and you’re bringing new instruments on all the time, but the musicians don’t know how to play and you have to teach them. The instruments are also almost always out of tune.

Also, the lights in the concert hall keep going off and you have to play in the dark sometimes and the roof leaks occasionally.

Meanwhile, critics are pissed that it doesn’t sound right, you’ve left out the basoon and you’re taking too long to get the orchestra playing together.

Then you change venues to a more strict concert venue, but everyone gets the wrong key card and the key cards they do get don’t allow access to the toilets so all the orchestra members shit their pants.
